Terms of Service

By using Kagyz (kagyz.com and api.kagyz.com), you agree to these terms.

The Service

Kagyz provides an API for generating business document PDFs (invoices, receipts, quotes, credit notes) from JSON data. You send structured data, we return a PDF file.

Accounts & API Keys

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your API key secure
  • Do not share your API key publicly (e.g. in client-side code, public repositories)
  • We may revoke API keys that are found to be compromised or misused

Usage & Plans

  • Free plan: 100 PDFs per month
  • Starter plan ($19/month): 2,000 PDFs per month
  • Growth plan ($49/month): 10,000 PDFs per month
  • Usage resets on the 1st of each month
  • Exceeding your plan limit will result in 429 (rate limit) responses until the next billing period

Your Data

  • You own all data you send to our API and all PDFs generated from that data
  • We do not store the content of your PDFs — data is used only to render the document and is not persisted after the PDF is returned
  • We store only your email, hashed API key, and monthly usage count

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the API to generate fraudulent, illegal, or misleading documents
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or disrupt the service
  • Share or resell API access without authorization
  • Use automated tools to create accounts in bulk

Service Availability

  • We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
  • The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime or errors in generated documents
  • You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of generated PDFs before using them in official or legal contexts

Payments & Refunds

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through LemonSqueezy
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 14 days of payment

Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • You may delete your account at any time by contacting us

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
